Aaron Mitchell is a working visual artist, songwriter, founder of The OUTTA SPACE and Berwyn Arts & Music (BAM). He will be exhibiting a new series of paintings in his first solo art show at Outta. Aaron will also play a special early acoustic set full of songs he wrote rarely played live. LIVE MUSIC for the evening starting at 9pm will include two amazing bands: THE MENARDS & BUNKERTOWN! THE MENARDS: featuring Tim Menard and wife Cathie Van Wert. Tim Menard is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has been entertaining audiences throughout America for over 4 decades. Tim's musical proficiency, introspective songs, smokey tenor voice and variety of bands make him a musician to be reckoned with. BUNKERTOWN has been a part of the Chicago music scene for over a decade playing original Roots Rock and folkish songs about everyday life (ii.e.fantasical songs about the mundane) Tunes written Mark Anderson, fueled by hawk-eyed observation. The music is a mutt of folk, rock, blues and ragtime country and inspirations may include Hammond or the restaurant eaten at last week.
