Jason Blake has teamed up once again with drummer Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats, Steven Wilson, Joe Satriani), to create his personal favorite work to date. The album was intended as a follow up to 2023's Subsequent Ruins album. While there are similarities, he took a different approach to the music and composed/recorded it entirely with his Warr Artisan semi-hollow guitar in order to give it a more acoustic feel. As for the writing process he included different aspects of his playing into each of the songs from heavy/dark passages to pretty/quiet sections. "Working with Jason is always a pleasure. The songs are very well written and performed, they basically play themselves. I like his tones and the command over the unique Warr guitar on which he performs his songs almost orchestra like.
