Enjoy an AMERICANA EVENING w/ KETTLESTRINGS and THE SWAINS!!! This will be a great showcase of local acts playing in the Americana/Country vain.

KETTLESTRINGS plays American music -- nearly all of it. The band has been influenced by everything from the Great American Songbook, to R&B and classic Rock & Roll, to country and Americana, to contemporary rock. You can hear all of those influences in the band's original tunes, written by lead vocalist and guitarist Victoria Storm and keyboardist Ed Malone, as well as in its choices of covers.

The band weaves together eclectic and dynamic sets out of its original songs, its own arrangements of classics, and hidden gems by artists from Etta James to Radiohead, Nick Lowe to Hall & Oates, Crowded House to Bob Dylan, and a few others you may not have heard of, like Bettie Serveert, the Waifs, and Fairground Attraction.

With An opening set with THE SWAINS--- The Swains, fronted by father and daughter duo Jack and Rachel, boast striking family harmonies paired with rich songwriting and classic country instrumentation. With a repertoire of originals and classic country songs, the Swains perform with a full band country outfit including Ed Sullivan on bass, Chuck Harling on drums, and Dennis Andreatta on pedal steel or as a duo for more acoustic events. Their songwriting influences span country, southern rock, roadhouse, cosmic country, Americana, and red dirt, and reflect the Texas roots of Jack and Rachel. Their music speaks to the full range of human experience, punctuated with their signature blend of blood harmonies and heartache.
